NCBS offers four unique services out of our facilities at Cedar Key. These services allow researchers of all ages to further their education and discover what the nature coast has to offer.

OUR EXTENSION PROGRAMS ARE AS DIVERSE AS OUR SURROUNDINGS

Led by Savanna Barry and Leslie Sturmer, our extension programs make the most of the Nature Coast’s diversity and natural-resource-based economy. Programs include sustainable coastal recreation, coastal resilience and restoration, shellfish aquaculture, and environmental volunteerism.
