Had a great weekend at the Cedar Key Seafood Festival, with an NCBS float at the parade and an open house for the new NCBS facility. First photo has our research administrator, Bhawna Thapa, and her daughters Kripa and Kriti on the parade float. The new lab was open for tours and we had a critter tank for the kids. Seahorse Key was open to the public for an Open House on Saturday, Oct. 21st. Hopefully you had time to catch a boat ride over to the island from the downtown marina.
Special thanks to River Run, Inc., who donated this motor for use in research by UF/IFAS NCBS. This motor will make work in shallow water much easier for our faculty and students. We can’t wait to try it out!
