Advisory Committees

The NCBS currently has three advisory committees: (1) the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), (2) the Extension Advisory Committee, and (3) the Advancement Advisory Committee.

The goal of the TAC is to advise the NCBS Director and staff regarding program priorities for research and operation of the station. The TAC meets once per year and reviews the NCBS Annual Report (this document) and provides feedback to the NCBS Director and staff. The Extension Advisory Committee advises the Regional Extension Agent (S. Barry) on Extension and outreach objectives for the station. The Advancement Advisory Committee works with the UF/IFAS Advancement Team and the NCBS Director on fundraising initiatives for the Station.
