2018 Publications

Publications from our team this year spanned a variety of management and conservation issues facing natural resources in the Nature Coast.  Our team published findings on the ecology of seagrass, factors influencing fish habitat quality/quantity, effects of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill on aquatic food webs, improvements to management of recreational fisheries, and quantitative advances in stock assessments for marine fisheries.  The team also established connections and collaborations on topics such as living shorelines to protect from shoreline erosion and impacts of oyster reef restoration on fish and wildlife communities.
