Reserve the Seahorse Key Marine Lab
Seahorse Key Marine Lab is used by a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses at UF, Santa Fe College, and other visiting institutions. We offer day trips as well as overnight stays by request.
About the Service
In 1952, the University of Florida established its marine laboratory on Seahorse Key, part of the Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuge. Ever since, the island's flora, fauna, history, and unique geographic structure have provided outstanding teaching and research opportunities for students, faculty, and the local community. Note: currently there are limited day trips only.
