MODULAR WET LAB FOR EXPERIMENTS
The Wet Lab is located on the first floor of our facility in Cedar Key, and is available to faculty, staff, and students for research and experimentation. This space is outfitted with water delivery, aeration, a modular and flexible tank system for a range of uses that will include hard clam culture, mesocosm and many other experiments for ecological studies in the region.
About the Service
Use the calendar to check availability and complete a reservation request. One of our staff members will confirm your reservation or ask additional questions.
We provide the following tank options for experiments:
- Algae Culture System (Max: 30)
- Larval Rearing Tanks (Max: 18 / Volume: 50 gal. each)
- 500 Gallon Rectangular tanks (Max: 4)
- 500 Gallon Circular Tanks (Max: 3)
- Tall Modular Tubs (Max: 12 / Height: 25″ / Volume Capacity 100 gal. each)
- Short Modular Tubs (Max: 12 / Height: 12″ / Volume Capacity 50 gal. each)

NCBS does not provide staff to manage experiments. Please be prepared to oversee your experiment throughout your reservation.
