This service is only available to internal UF/IFAS NCBS Employees. All other departments needing assistance with vessel related field research would need to submit a request form for a captained vessel.

About the Service

UF/IFAS NCBS researchers and staff must submit a request form for all field activities when utilizing station vessels, whether they are vessels with or without captains.

Field Work FAQs

This will be determined on a case-by-case review for the project being conducted.

A captain is required for all research/field activities that are not conducted by UF/IFAS NCBS employees. All other UF departments and external guests will need to complete an SKML Day Trip request form.
